I have joined duty on 14.11.2022 in pune academy after taking due permission. 2. Goals and objectives review: 2024: The goals set for me by myself and achievement against the same are: A. To conduct classes for all PG Diploma courses being run at pune center without any gap as per academic calendar: All classes were conducted for all PGD courses as per schedule and without any complaint from any student or any stake holder. I have taken classes in all streams on papers which required my attention and expertise. All exams, teaching assessment tests were conducted in time strictly as per the academic calendar. Online classes were taken by me personally wherever possible and arranged for lectures by experts from outside to which I was attending as observer and assessor, where needed to the best satisfaction of the students and all stakeholders. All students have performed well in all internal and external exams. They have fully participated in practicals, submitted visit reports in time, undertaken mini projects, practical records and submitted reports in time and with high level of academic integrity. Results have shown that all students have passed out with flying colours in all three streams. The students have earned good name as disciplined soldiers of NFSU while dealing with outside agencies incl CFSL, where the practicals were conducted. B. skill enhancement for all stake holders of CJS. : in view of new criminal laws being implemented from july 1, we wish to train CJS members in nuances and changes being introduced for use in their daily professional life by way of seminars and workshops. C. We have succeeded in creating deep appreciation of forensic services by exposing our diploma students to practical work in CFSL by way of attachment thereby bridging the gap in knowledge and skillset for them as students of undergraduation join diplomas from various streams and this helps build a reservoir of skilled individuals for use by society. 3. Academic and administrative performance: 2024: I have taken one paper each for all PGD students streams commensurate with my level of expertise . I have goaded , guided, mentored all the students personally and have made them realize their responsibility as first batch of pune center and made them stand out as disciplined student community . I have used the lecture method, online lectures and off line class room teaching methods. I have provided the student with PPT for all topics as per syllabus, I have provided them with question banks, study material, reference materials, recordings of class lectures for review and revision and personal coaching when they need at their leisure. I have maintained and provided online resources in blogger, whatsapp , telegram, and youtube platforms for use by students which contained all relevant books, articles, video lectures, audio lectures , online and offline mentoring and guidance . I have discussed the best way of answering our question papers with students, so that they know what to write, how much to write and make best use of time during the exams. I have mentored them on how to prepare for the exams , how to select project topics, how to do the project, how to write the project report and submit the same in time for the university evaluation 4. Leadership and team management: 2023: I have been instrumental in selecting the contract employees viz: clerk, sweeper and attender and in negotiating their terms of employment by us with the main contractor. The fact that they have proved to be an asset to our institution is borne out by their dedicated functioning for the entire year. No industrial unrest incident was ever allowed to come up by negotiation, counseling and general welfare of the employees, irrespective of how cooperative was their contractor . 2024: I have taken several initiatives on a daily basis to make them learn their job using ‘doing and learning’ way. 5. Financial management: 2024: I have not availed any transport facility from the university by engaging my own transport at my cost so as to minimize cost to institution on my account. 2024: I have helped in buying kits, furniture, black white boards, projectors and their installation, wifi at lowest cost to institution by having my own wifi at my own cost for my official work also. I have taken classes online at home by using my own wifi connection both by day and by night , on working days and off days of Saturday and Sundays as suited to the needs of the students, without affecting the budget of the institution. I have logged in to all classes taken by other experts in all subjects to ensure that students attend regularly and teachers do not cross the limits set by the syllabus. 2024: All expenses for teaching and non teaching activities are strictly met within the budget allotted therefor . 6. Student and stakeholder engagement: 2024: I have actively involved with students before, during and after admission for both batches, I have participated in the advertisement and sales promotion/ education expo activities for the both batches 23, and 24. I have interacted with as many student groups and college staff as possible and explained the benefits of joining our institution. 2024: I will arrange for awareness visits in 24 once students come back from vacation. I will contact bar association for conducting similar awareness programs in forensics for members of the bar and the bench. 2024: I will explore the possibility of conducting similar courses for medical students as there are two medical colleges in talegaon area. 2024: There is a need for contacting CUSTOMS OF ICD, DRI, EXCISE OFFICIALS for meeting their training needs. 2023: I have arranged for stay , food and travel arrangements for all new batch students in my own complex so that students can stay at lowest cost and eat and stay healthy. 2024: It is possible for us to hire a few rooms for converting them into hostel if need be by negotiating with the owners. 2024: I am sharing all free webinars and seminars being conducted by any agency in India and sharing the details with our student so that they can avail of the same, if they are interested. 2023: I have called on the DG legal & technical in charge of FSLs Shri Rajneesh seth, IPS in Maharashtra, and the Director of FSL smt Sangeetha ghumatkar in Mumbai and DD of RFSL smt Dr Kamath, in pune. 2024: I have taken our students for one day educational tour to Mumbai FSL during which they have observed the working and interacted with staff of all divisions in FSL. 2024: I have interacted with the principal of PTC near Khandala shri Makandar Addl SP khandala. I have obtained permission for one day visit to PTC in this month of june 2024. I am awaiting permission from our coordinator to hire a bus and take our students for the visit. 2024: I have spread the word around that our institution is available in the pune educational arena. 2024: We need to increase our visibility in the city by way of bill boards in all railway stations and metro stations and advertisements in MIRCHI radio FM to increase awareness. 2023: I have accessed new project training proposals for the benefit of our institution: one for forest officials of TN, which is being taken up by our goa branch, one for railway police in pune for arson training which is taken up by our goa branch,. 2024: We have successfully conducted one week training program for central railway protection force team for ALL INDIA POLICE DUTY MEET. They have won one prize in their first attempt. All evidences practiced at our end were the same which appeared in the exam event. . I have coordinated with Shri UDAY SINGH PAWAR IPS, DIVISIONAL SECURITY COMMISSIONER, CENTRAL RAILWAY PUNE DIVISION and Divisional Security Commissioner shri SRINIVASA RAO, IPS and shri SACHIN BHONSLE , IFS , TN, and Shri ANKIT GOYAL, IPS, SP PUNE RURAL for the purpose. They have agreed to avail our services every year for AIPDM training in addition to their own training in nasik railway academy. 2023: I am also in constant touch with Maharashtra intelligence academy SP CID, Ms Pallavi Barge, IPS, as I evaluated their training and organizational inputs in conducting Maharashtra police duty meet. I have suggested that they would do well to avail our services in training up their contingent for ALL INDIA POLIC DUTY MEET and skilling program, which can generate revenue for our institution . 2024: I have obtained commitment from commissioner pimpri chinchwad for training course for their inspectors in DNA technologies for one day workshop. I am awaiting fixing of date from their end inn July24 first week. They have promised to avail our services for training all their personnel by way of skill up-gradation activities like workshops on a regular basis. 2024: I am regularly interacting with SR INSPECTOR , TALEGAON MIDC PS, and DYSP HQ ADMN in pimpri chinchwad police commissionerate PMPC for securing the interests of our institution in this area. 2024: I have coordinated regularly Director CFSL PUNE, Shri VIJAY SHANKAR for smooth conduct of practical component of our studies. 2024: All Our students have benefited by way of one month attachment to CFSL as also some students of NFSU TRIPURA which has been a very significant activity in their academic growth. They were given certificates by CFSL which will help them in their future career growth. 2024: The director sir has also promised continued cooperation for conducting all our practicals and demos by using CFSL facilities till we acquire our own instruments and staff. They have asked for help in sparing our maintenance staff to clean the entire premises by recruiting additional sweepers via contractor route which proposal has not yet been approved by our coordinator and HQ. in my view it should be granted as we will gain by way of continued use of all facilities of CFSL for our students use. 7. Professional development and learning: 2023: I have procured DNA sexual assault kit, SOC cordon off kit, general IO kit. I have procured, demonstration and hands on of the above kits as a student activity including a movie of the same adopting learning while doing concept. 2023: I have organized expert lecture on ‘SCIENTOONS’ by Prof Dr. Pradeep srivastava, a world first inventor of using ‘cartoons’ to explain science topics for the benefit of students . 2023: I have attended cyber security courses, arranged cyber security classes for our PGD students . 2024: we should continue to offer and reintroduce cyber security and cyber forensics courses in this center as there is huge demand for the same and pune is software hub in this part of the country. 2024: I was subject coordinator; I have prepared internal and external question papers for our institution. I have interacted with RFSL, CFSL to explore coordination. 2023: I have guided professionals being attached to CFSL and indicated how they can benefit from our institution. 2024: I have coordinated with BPRD research project ON EVALUATION OF GOVERNMENT INITIATIVES ON IMPLEMENTATION OF SDG FOR POLICE DEPARTMENT , Shri Aapasthamba deputed to us. I was involved in selection of research proposals for funding by BPRD in year 2023 under Ms Anupama, IPS, ADG BPRD. Identifying expert lecturers was the main challenge, I have obtained services of experts from Bombay IIT, FSL OF AP & TS, CDTI HYDERABAD, ONGC, MUMBAI. 2023: I have overseen admission formalities for ‘23 batch. 2024: I have completed entire syllabus in time. On request , I have suggested removal of overlapping and redundant items in FS syllabi and addition of FM topics ,. The second suggestion was turned down due to policy considerations. But I still feel that FM is part of WIDER AREA OF FORENSICS. The director has agreed to call for another workshop once the new batch joins this academic year. I am offering my services to conduct similar simulation workshops in all NFSU centers throughout India for the benefit of all our student groups throughout the country in all centers. 9. Areas of improvement: 2024: Police duty meet training can be a good training initiative from our institution for all police forces in the country. I have given proposal for center or excellence in crime scene management for our center which when implemented will result in a boost to police academic coordination. Railway protection force central railway have committed to avail our services for all future duty meet trainings over and above their own trainings conducted in Nasik. We can if approved contact all state police forces for the purpose of sending their personnel for training at our institution. 10. Future goals and development: 2024: I wish to convert this center into a hub for all PG Diploma and skill development courses for police, prosecutors, and lawyers, students of science and law streams. 2024: I wish to design and make in pune indigenous kits for use by police and IOs and FSL by involving our students keeping the implementation of new criminal acts. Miniaturized versions of the kits for general IO and general crime scene management as the concept of bike borne FS crime scene experts has been introduced in this state police forces at this center. . .
